About Milena
Milena is a Sydney master hair artist, and a cut and custom colour specialist. In 2008 she opened the world’s first vintage hair salon, the Leopard Lounge in Newtown.
Twenty years in Sydney sharpened her eye alongside some of the best in the business, and Los Angeles glamorised her style and technique. Her work spans Sony Music artists, film and television, and the pages of countless magazines.
Now she’s home in Adelaide, in a private studio tucked away in leafy Glenelg North. One chair, one client at a time, and never a rush.

Where is the studio?
35 Harvey Terrace, Glenelg North SA 5045, on the corner of James Melrose Road and opposite the Glenelg Golf Club. The entrance is on James Melrose Road.
Is there parking?
Yes, there's plenty of parking right out front.
Will anyone else be in the studio?
No. It's one chair and one client at a time, so it's just you and Milena, and never a rush.
I'm new. What should I send before my appointment?
Text a photo of your hair as it is now, plus three or four looks you love, to 0401 017 275. It helps Milena plan your dream hair before you sit down.
How do I book?
Choose a time online with the Book button, or text or call the studio on 0401 017 275 for Milena's availability. For weddings, hens parties and film work, send an enquiry.
When are appointments?
Appointments run between 7am and 7pm. Sessions outside those hours, and on Sundays, depend on Milena's availability and attract a surcharge.
Do you come to me?
For weddings and film or TV work, yes. Every other appointment happens in the Glenelg North studio.
What colour do you use?
Ammonia-free Italian colour, custom-mixed for each client.
Will my name and pronouns be respected?
Always. Tell Milena your name and pronouns when you book, or on the day, and that's what she'll use. You never have to explain yourself in this chair.
